RODIN/ROMA
>> 2.27.2010
Went to the Musee Rodin a few days ago with Mom, and it was fabulous- tons of great sculptures and paintings. There was an exposition on Rodin and Matisse, and it was interesting to get to see the similarities in their works. We got caught in the pouring rain while we were looking at the Gates of Hell, and ducked into a great little cafe for some coffees.
The next day was bittersweet. We said goodbye to our little apartment on Rue Voltaire and caught the night train to Milan. After 6 plus hours on a cramped, awful night train, we hopped on the next train to ROMA! So now, we are spending a few days here and then we will be off to Venice.
Today we went and walked through the Colosseum and after that, just wandered about the town. Its so nice here, about 60 degrees. Much warmer than my 25-30 degree Paris, but I already miss that city.
I leave for Alaska now in 8 days and I am feeling a bit sad, hopefully that will pass. I have a new school plan that will allow me to come back to Paris very very soon. :)
Love you all, pictures soon.
